| I am a photographer and multimedia producer currently living in Salt Lake City, Utah. Photography to me is slowing down enough to see the intricate, fragile and beautiful moments that life is made of. Nothing is mundane and everything worth telling about if we take the time to look close enough. I am most interested in exploring people's lives through documentary storytelling. I grew up in Berlin, Germany, and moved to the United States in 2004. My work has been recognized by the NPPA, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Utah News Photographers Association, the Associated Press Managing Editors, and more. I am available for freelance assignments anywhere. I arbeite zurzeit als Fotografin für den Standard-Examiner in Ogden, Utah. Ich bin in Berlin aufgewachsen und ging 2004 in die USA, wo ich drei Jahre später mein Journalismus-Studium an der University of Arizona abschloss. Meine journalistische Erfahrungen beschränken sich nicht aufs Fotografieren, sondern umfassen auch das Schreiben von Geschichten, sowie multimedia Präsentationen. Ich bin viel durch Europa, Asien, Neuseeland und die Vereinigten Staaten gereist und interessiere mich besonders für Dokumentarfotografie von sozialen Themen. Ich bin für Aufträge als frei schaffende Fotografin ansprechbar. Meine Arbeiten wurden von der Society of Professional Journalists, der Utah News Photographers Assocition, dem Arizona Press Club, dem Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar, des Southern Short Course, der National Press Photographers Association und den Associated Press Managing Editors ausgezeichnet. |
